Biography
John de Sohn, born Björn Johnsson, is a Swedish DJ and producer from Ystad, born on 13 October 1984.
Passionate about music from a young age, he began his DJ career in his teens; with more than ten years of experience, he devoted nearly all his weekends to the craft over the past decade.
His sets always focus on the audience, offering an energetic big room house spectacle.
The pseudonym John de Sohn appeared in 2009: his first release, Unleash My Love, featuring the voice of Christina Skaar, reached number 3 on the Beatport overall chart and was supported by major artists like Avicii and Tiësto.
He went on to produce remixes for artists such as Flo Rida, Bruno Mars, Nadia Ali and Wynter Gordon.
His track Long Time, with singer Andreas Moe, was certified platinum in Sweden and appears on the compilation Tiësto – Club Life Volume Two Miami; after twenty weeks on the Swedish dance chart it became one of the most played tracks of 2012.
