Timster

Timster is a German DJ and producer from Cologne, born on 16 December 1994. His real name is Tim Quaedvlieg.

His musical journey began in 2006 with a school piano class, where he met Dominik (K96), one of his best friends. Sharing a passion for electronic music, they began producing their own tracks in 2009.

They initially used Magix before switching to FL Studio (Fruity Loops). The first months and years were marked by many bootlegs, until he received his first remix commission in 2012.

His first official remix was of the single Emotions, released as the “Timster Remix”. He later collaborated on remixes with Alari, Mike G and Flashback One.

Notable works include remixes of Forever Mine, Bad Chick, and his most famous remix of Menderes’s single Right in the Middle, released in March 2016.

Timster believes the Hands Up style should not be considered outdated: events like the Easter Rave and other BE 24-7 nights show there is still a large audience that appreciates it.
