Biography

Standerwick, born Ian Peter Standerwick, is a trance producer, DJ and vocalist from Portishead, near Bristol in England.

He began his music career as a songwriter and producer, which led to him being signed by the renowned publisher Zomba Music Publishing Group.

In September 2014, DJ Mag identified him as part of the “New Wave Of Trance” and described him as a standout talent for powerful trance at a distinctive tempo of 138 BPM.

In early 2014 he resumed performing as a DJ, leading to headlining major events such as “A State of Trance 650” on the world tour of Armin Van Buuren in the Netherlands, as well as the “Future Sound Of Egypt 350” and “400” world tours of Aly & Fila in Argentina, Australia, Poland and at the Ministry Of Sound in London; he also took part in the Subculture world tour in Argentina and New York.

His touring schedule became very busy, with appearances across the United States, Canada, Asia, South America, Australia and throughout Europe and the UK.

As an international DJ, Standerwick has played many major events, festivals and prestigious venues such as Tomorrowland, Creamfields, EDC, Nature One, Ministry of Sound and Amnesia Ibiza.
