
Geo Da Silva
Biography
Geo Da Silva, born Gheorghe Constantin Cristinel, is a DJ and producer from Timișoara, Romania, born on 12 June 1976.
He began his music career in 1994 as a DJ at the Discoland club in Timișoara, specializing in dance music.
The summer of 2000 marked a turning point when he performed at the Disco Ring in Costinești and, with the DJ positions already filled, tried the role of MC for the first time.
On that basis he was recommended to the group DJ Project and became resident and manager of the famous “Thursday-Student Power Night” at Discoland in Timișoara.
A year later, after another summer at the Disco Ring in Costinești, he returned to Discoland as general artistic director.
Between 2004 and 2007 he was the resident DJ at Disco Youth in Costinești during the summers; the rest of the year he performed in the country’s leading clubs and abroad.
From 2004 he created his own show brand, Funky DJs, together with Dj Jungle and later Chris Mayer, and began producing his own musical material.
