Shaun Baker

Shaun Baker is a dance music producer and DJ from the north of England who has been based in Germany for more than twenty years.

He has been active on the global club scene for over two decades. His production career is defined by a long-standing musical partnership with his friend Sebastian Wolter; together they delivered several notable dance tracks.

Their track Xplode 2 reached number one across all German dance charts. Other successes include the singles Push, also a hit in the dance and sales charts, and Bakerman, a collaboration with the Danish cult duo Laid Back.

The Shaun Baker & Sebastian Wolter version of Bakerman impressed Laid Back so much that they put them in touch with director Lars von Trier, who had produced the original video and granted permission to use that clip for their cover. The track returned to number one in most German dance charts and reached No. 39 on Germany’s overall sales charts.

His production and collaboration catalogue includes Explode (2002), Sex on the Streets (2003), Millions (2003) and Push!/Deep (2006). A announced new release was the single V.I.P., scheduled for February 2007.
