Biography
MaxE, born Max Eichenlaub, is a producer, DJ, songwriter, and singer. He also uses the aliases Max E. and Maxe.
Under the alias Maxe, he is also identified as Maximilian Grimmer. The Italian-German artist, based in Cologne, is known for tracks such as Fever (2026).
He has inspired international artists including Redman and Method Man. Together, they achieved international success with the “GOH” project: the song “I Used To Be” held the number one spot on Beatport for two months, and EA Sports licensed it for Madden NFL 16, the best-selling video game in America, bringing it to millions of listeners.
Other notable collaborations include Chris Willis, CeCe Rogers, Max C, The Beatnuts, and Afrob. With his singles “I Wonder Why” and “It hurts me so much,” he received strong radio support from major stations in Italy and Germany.
He has released music through Universal Music, Sony Music, Kontor Records, Time Records, Tiger Records, Milk & Sugar Recordings, and Ego Music, alongside worldwide airplay and chart successes (DE iTunes #10, IT iTunes #5, Beatport #1). He is currently working on his first studio album, which he writes and produces, also providing vocals on some songs himself.
