Biography
XTM is a dance music project formed by Spanish brothers Xasqui Ten and Toni Ten, sometimes credited as X-Team. The project’s name comes from the initials of Xasqui Ten Martínez.
The group is best known for their 2003 single Fly on the Wings of Love, a cover of the Olsen Brothers’ Eurovision 2000 winning song: in collaboration with DJ Chucky and singer Annia (real name Eva Martí), it reached number 8 on the UK Singles Chart, spent ten weeks in the top 10 and was the most-played track on the channel The Box that year; with 165,000 copies sold it ranked as the 32nd best-selling single of the year in the UK. The accompanying music video was produced entirely in CGI.
Success continued in 2005 with the single Give Me Your Love, again featuring vocals by Annia: the track reached number 28 on the UK Singles Chart and topped the Pop Tip Chart and the DMC Mainstream Chart. Other notable covers include 74, 75 (originally by The Connells) and When The Rain Begins To Fall (Jermaine Jackson and Pia Zadora), both also featuring Annia.
