Biography
William Black is an electronic music producer from Denver, USA. He began his career in the late 2010s producing aggressive dubstep for labels like Dim Mak, before evolving into a richer, more emotional uplifting melodic bass.
His compositions tackle profound themes such as depression, addiction, love, and loss. They are characterized by uplifting, melodic soundscapes and passionate vocalists.
These qualities led his first EP, “Universe” (2018), to top the iTunes Dance charts. In 2019, he further explored the boundaries of dance music with his album “Pages”, creating sonic nostalgia, which charted on iTunes and Billboard Dance charts.
He is also known under the alias William Black. His style encompasses the genres future bass, melodic dubstep, melodic bass, and EDM.
