United Beats
Biography
United Beats is a German electronic music project active in the 1990s and 2000s. The collective primarily consists of producers Jan-Hendrik Geßner and Roland Kahl, sometimes credited as Jan-Hendrik Geßner & Roland Toni Kahl. Other members have also contributed to the project, notably Manuel Reuter and Yann Peifer.
Their output fits into several currents of the German electronic scene of the time, navigating between dance, techno, and trance. Their style is also associated with more specific genres like eurodance and italo dance, reflecting the popular trends on European dancefloors during that period.
The United Beats project allowed its members to collaborate and produce club-oriented tracks, contributing to the Germanic electronic scene without achieving major international fame. Their discography remains rooted in the era of compilations and productions aimed at the dance charts.
