Ultrabeat
Biography
Ultrabeat is an electronic music production group based in Liverpool, formed by Mike Di Scala, Chris Henry and Ian Redman.
Their output, mainly dance and house, is generally classified as commercial dance; their early work is recognised as commercial UK vocal trance productions.
They release their music through the All Around The World (AATW) label.
The group is best known for their huge 2003 hit, Pretty Green Eyes.
The recording received steady support from DJ Lee Butler of Radio City 96.7, who helped launch them by playing their cover of I'm Not in Love just hours after it was recorded.
Their 2007 album, “Ultrabeat – The Album”, reached number 8 on the UK charts and compiles their previous singles.
Among their notable releases is the single Discolights, a collaboration with UK hardcore producer and vocalist Darren Styles, released in June 2008.
