Torine, a 23-year-old Norwegian from Arendal, brings a distinctive touch to Scandinavian pop by blending her love of female rockers and electric guitars with 2000s nostalgia and catchy choruses.
She has amassed over 200 million streams and completed successful tours across Europe and Asia, demonstrating a strong stage presence and a clear musical identity.
Her debut EP, UNHOLY, was both a critical and commercial success; she describes it as “the funeral of who I was”, candidly recounting her early years and her search for identity within a family marked by religion and drug addiction.
Recent singles 7 Minutes in Heaven and Medicine followed the EP; her new music reflects personal growth and a desire to give voice to those usually unheard, writing about both girls and boys to help normalize that reality.
Nicknamed the “princess of pop-punk”, Torine is set to take a major step with her first U.S. tour scheduled for November 2023.
