
Tom Snare
Biography
Tom Snare, born Xavier Decanter, is a DJ and producer from Dunkerque in northern France.
He became known in 2003 with the track Waterfalls, which became popular on the jumpstyle scene; he revisited it in 2008 under the title Waterfalls 2008.
His breakthrough came in 2006 with the single Philosophy, which reached No. 2 on the French charts. The same year he released his first album, Tom Snare’s World.
His musical style blends house, electro and techno. He is also the owner of the label [l1597642].
Tom Snare has collaborated with other French musicians, notably Steve Watt, and releases productions under several aliases, including Blue Star, Pure Star, Master Of Sciences and Undertalk.
