Theo is presented under his real name Theodorakis Finian Constantine Brehony.
He also appears under several aliases: Kabal, Kevy Kev, Kevy Metal, Black Belt Jones, Theo Brehony and Kevin Theodoropolus.
These pseudonyms distinguish different identities and projects used across releases.

Sources indicate he began as a DJ and radio host in 1992 and released tracks on the French label Bazoline from 1999.
In 2004 he released the electronica EP Souk on the netlabel Kahvi Collective, then in 2006 the track Funk My Tricky Groovy Disco Shit, notable within the breaks niche.
At the same time he formed the pop duo “Heist” with Reza Safinia, showing involvement in live projects and vocal/pop collaborations.
