The Dreamteam
Biography
The Dreamteam is a collective formed by renowned Dutch DJs in the Hardcore and gabber scene, who initially recorded and performed together after gaining individual recognition.
The group originally comprised four iconic figures: DJ Dano (Daniël Leeflang), DJ Gizmo (Ferry Salee), Buzz Fuzz (Mark Vos) and The Prophet (Dov Elkabas). Later, MC Mouth Of Madness (Sietse van Daalen) joined them.
Their rise was closely linked to the company ID&T: shortly after its founding in 1992, and following extremely popular live performances, ID&T offered them their own label. That label, the first launched by ID&T Music, was established in early 1993 and dedicated specifically to The Dreamteam’s productions.
The label remained active until 1997, releasing twenty-three records, before ceasing operations amid a decline in Hardcore hype. After nearly two decades of silence, the group returned in 2013 with a new album, although The Prophet had left the lineup in the meantime.
