Supermode
Biography
Supermode is a house project formed in the spring of 2006 by Swedish DJs and producers Axwell (real name Axel Christofer Hedfors) and Steve Angello (Steve Josefsson Fragogiannis).
Their first major success is the track Tell Me Why, released on the Data Records label. This production is a remix and sample that fuses two songs by the group Bronski Beat: Smalltown Boy and Why.
The project is also known by the name variations Super Mode and Supermodel. Their music is associated with the house, dance, electronic, trance, and club genres.
