Biography
Solid HarmoniE (stylized Solid HarmoniE, also known as SHE) is a British-American Pop girl group. It consists of Mariama Goodman, Elisa Cariera, Beki Onslow, Melissa Graham and Jenilca Giusti.
The group achieved moderate success with five singles and a self-titled album before splitting up in 2000. They were most successful in the Netherlands, where the album reached number one and was certified gold. The single I Want You to Want Me reached number four on the Dutch charts. Solid HarmoniE has sold over one million records worldwide.
Originally, the group consisted of three British members: Beki, Mariama and Melissa. In 1996 they scored their first success with Got To Have Ya. In 1997, Mariama temporarily left the group to care for her ill mother, and Elisa, from Orlando, Florida, replaced her. Mariama later returned. The second single, I'll Be There for You, produced by Denniz Pop and Max Martin, became a major success in Europe. It was followed by I Want You to Want Me, I Wanna Love You and To Love Once Again.
