Sandra Lyng
Biography
Sandra Lyng Haugen (born 18 April 1987) is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Mosjøen, in the municipality of Vefsn. She became known in 2004 after taking part in the Norwegian talent show Idol: Jakten på en superstjerne (the local version of Pop Idol), finishing fourth.
That same year she released the summer hit single Sommerflørt as a duet with Phillip from the group Equicez. In 2005 she put out the single I morgen, which stayed 16 weeks on the Norwegian charts and peaked at No. 2, and released the album Døgnvill (Universal Norway), which spent 9 weeks on the charts and reached No. 10.
She later returned with the single PRTeY (September 2013), featuring Lazee, followed by Don`t Care (February 2014).
In January 2023, it was announced that she would take part in Melodi Grand Prix 2023 with the song Drøm D Bort; she was eliminated in the second semi-final.
