Sak Noel

Sak Noel

Biography

Sak Noel, whose real name is Isaac Mahmood Noell, is a Spanish DJ, music producer, singer-songwriter and music video director from La Cellera de Ter, Girona.

He began in music during his adolescence, influenced by the electronic sounds of the early 21st century. After performing in various clubs, he and his best friend founded the company Moguda.com, through which he produced music for artists, for clubs and for his own tracks, notably as a member of the group Mak&Sak feat. Xana.

With that collective he toured the country presenting live sessions at the well-known Moguda.com parties; the success of those events gave rise to the Moguda Dance Festival, strengthening the brand and Sak Noel’s visibility alongside the singer Xana.

He managed the company’s communication policy at both conceptual and artistic levels, contributing to the creation of advertising spots, trailers, flyer designs, radio spots, radio shows and video presentations that he also edited. He describes himself as a jack-of-all-trades capable of handling the creative aspects of the nightlife sector.

He also became a music video director for other artists and for himself: his track Loca People exemplifies his versatility, as he handled both the music production and the video direction, appearing in the clip. Since late 2011 he has owned Noel Music. The Catalan nightlife community Moguda, which he founded and co-owned, is no longer active.

His musical style draws from house, dance, electro and Latin influences, and is sometimes associated with moombahton on certain platforms.
