Rosabel

Biography

Rosabel is a house music duo composed of DJs and producers Ralphi Rosario from Chicago and Abel Aguilera from Miami.

Each being an accomplished solo artist and producer in their own right, their collaboration achieved notable success on the dance music charts. The duo reached the number one spot on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart five times.

Their 2000 track, Don't You Want My Love, featured singer Debbie Jacobs-Rock. In 2001, Rosabel followed up with two Top 10 club hits: The Power, featuring the vocals of Jeanie Tracy, which reached number one, and a remix of the Jennifer Holliday classic, And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going, which peaked at number six.

In 2002, they spent a week at the top of the chart with the track That Sound. Their third number one came in 2004 with the single Cha Cha Heels, again featuring Jeanie Tracy on vocals. This track was later used in the sixth season of the TV show *So You Think You Can Dance* for a cha-cha-cha choreography.

Their fifth number one, Rhythm Intoxication, was released in 2006. The following single, Looking 4 Men with Tamara Wallace, became a Top 20 hit.

The duo’s style is associated with house and its subgenres, notably tribal house.
