After singing Mariah Carey on the couch with her sister at the age of four and watching other people sing, Renae knew she wanted to sing too. She starts vocal lessons at 15. Although life takes her in a different direction for a while, a key moment comes five years later when she meets a producer: she steps into a studio and falls in love with writing and recording songs.

After releasing several features over the past few years, she decides to do something completely different by producing her own music, which also leads to a shift in style. Moving from pop/house features to original tracks with R&B/soul/pop influences, she finds what comes naturally and where she feels most comfortable. She hopes it resonates with listeners, while continuing to explore different genres through collaborations with various artists.

In January 2020, she releases Heart First featuring Kenzo Alvares. After more work, her third release, Voices, lands in Spotify’s “BAE” playlist. Her single Loving U, released on June 24, is added to “New Music Friday NL”. More motivated than ever, Renae says she’s ready to create even more music, inspired by both the good and the bad of her adventures.
