Raffaella Carrà, born Raffaella Maria Roberta Pelloni, was an Italian singer, television presenter, actress, dancer, and entertainer, born in Bologna on June 18, 1943, and died in Rome on July 5, 2021.

She is considered a pioneer of pop entertainment, paving the way for international artists like Madonna, Lady Gaga, or Michael Jackson through her holistic stage approach.

Her career was exceptionally prolific and diverse, with commercial success in many fields. She recorded 25 albums in several languages and performed 485 songs in Italian, Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, German, Greek, Russian, and Filipino.

On television, she hosted 45 programs in Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Turkey, Greece, Chile, Peru, Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, the Soviet Union, and the United States, with her Italian and Spanish shows broadcast across Europe.
