Otilia

Otilia, born Otilia Bruma, is a Romanian singer born on June 13, 1992, in Suceava.

Her musical talent was spotted early by a teacher at the National College “Ștefan cel Mare” in her hometown. At the age of 17, she began working for the television channel Antena 1 in Suceava, where she typically performed folk songs.

She initially used the stage name Bijue, before having to change it after another artist appropriated it. In the summer of 2013, she permanently adopted the pseudonym Otilia.

By November of the same year, she had already released three tracks: French Kiss, Russian Dream, and On Fire. A music video was shot for the latter track, requiring three days of filming across various locations in Bucharest.

Her first song, All the Stars, was a major success. The video production was initiated at the request of the labels that had signed the track, for promotional purposes. These labels include Clipper’s for Spain and Portugal, as well as Som Livre in Brazil, with whom a long-term collaboration was announced.

She has performed in concert numerous times and has been invited to various shows around the world, where her look and voice have been highly appreciated. Her songs have been very successful with listeners, both in Romania and abroad.
