Biography
Ostekke, whose real name is Noah Strebe, is a German DJ and producer born in 2003 in Jena and now based near Weimar.
He started DJing at the age of 15, exploring a range of styles such as techno, house, tech-house, and hardtekk. He quickly moved on to producing his own tracks and remixes, initially sharing them on SoundCloud.
His major breakthrough came with his remix of the 2013 ballad Another Love. Blending the song’s emotional lyrics and Tom Odell’s distinctive voice with the powerful beats and basslines characteristic of Ostekke’s sound, the remix went viral. Released in September, the track rapidly climbed the charts in Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands, amassing more than 14 million streams in two weeks.
Often described as both emotional and energetic, his style moves between house and hardtekk, fitting the zeitgeist perfectly. Following this success and the release of his track Underworld, Ostekke is actively working on new projects, including further remixes of well-known songs as well as original solo productions.
