Biography
Oliver Alexander Thornton, known as Olly Alexander, is a British musician, singer, songwriter and actor born in 1990.
He is best known as the lead singer of the band Years & Years, under which his music was released until 2023. The group released its first single, Traps, in September 2013.
In 2024, Olly Alexander was selected to represent the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest.
He is also known for his advocacy as a defender of LGBTQ+ rights.
