Biography

Object One is an alias used by Spanish producers and DJs Alberto Tapia and Pedro Miras for dancefloor-oriented electronic music, spanning techno and dance. The project has also involved collaborators such as Oliver Klitzing, Davor Drezga and Gunnar Siewert.

During the 1990s, Object One released several club staples, including Ping Pong, Typewriter and Emergency.

The name’s history includes a specific episode: the “Object One” brand was used by the company Max Music for singles like “Emergency” and “Not Available”, produced by German producers, before Alberto Tapia and Pedro Miras regained the rights. Under this alias, the duo explored a range of electronic styles including trance, house, techno, hard trance and gabber.
