Michaela Stridbeck
Biography
Michaela Stridbeck is a singer-songwriter from Sweden who began singing, performing and writing music in Gävle from the age of nine. Her path then took her to Stockholm and later to Piteå to deepen her studies and artistic exploration, before settling in Norrtälje, a small coastal town near the archipelago that is conducive to inspiration and songwriting.
She draws inspiration from everyday life, writing about feelings, relationships and the observation of thoughts and daily routines. In Piteå she was part of a band called Pophjärtat, which created pop songs influenced by the 1980s and EDM, with lyrics that are easy to relate to and often tinged with melancholy.
In 2020 she featured with iamsimon on the track Loveless, which she co-wrote with Jonathan Bluth (aka BLUTH) and iamsimon. Her first single as an artist, No More, was co-written with Jonathan Bluth and Gustav Afsahi and released by Ocean Music Group.
