
Marian Dacal
Biography
Marian Dacal (Marian Dacal Lopez), born in London in 1975, is a vocalist specializing in Dance Music; she has lived in Barcelona since 1991.
She began her career at 17 with the help of Mike Platinas and Ilde Irún.
She is the voice of the 1999 classic Flying Free, which earned her in 2000 the awards for Best Spanish Commercial Theme and Best Spanish Makina Theme from deejay magazine.
A vocalist on several hundred tracks, she appears notably on Pure, the XQue Vol. 6 and 7 compilations, Paradise, This is real and The Key.
She has released three Chill Out albums: The Beatles Chill Out, Acoustic Vol. 1 and The Boss Chill, and has begun voice dubbing for children’s series in English.
More active than ever, she currently performs live at dozens of festivals.
