Malu Project
Biography
The MaLu Project is a Hands Up producer duo, a subgenre of electronic dance music, formed on August 8, 2009.
The project consists of Markus Okelola (originally from St. Pölten, Lower Austria, Austria) and Lucian Balinisteanu (originally from Gelsenkirchen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany). The name “MaLu” is a combination of the initials of their first names: “Ma” for Markus and “Lu” for Lucian.
Markus Okelola is also known by the pseudonym Snickboy, while Lucian Balinisteanu uses LuTraXx.
The duo is signed to the Mental Madness label.
Under the name MaLu Project, they also have aliases such as Chicks N Fire, B&W (2), Amfora (2), and Vivida.
