Biography

Luca Zeta, real name Luca Miramonti, is an Italo dance producer, composer and singer.

His career began in 1993 with a dance remix of State Of The Nation. Fascinated by progressive sound, he then released the mix Orion. In 1996, he created the U.P.S. (United Progressive Selectors) project and produced, with Mad Bob, the Christmas single Christmas Dream ` 96, in collaboration with renowned DJs such as Gigi D'agostino, Mario Piu, Ricky Le Roy, DJ Dado and Roland Brant. The profits were donated to the ARCHE’ association, which helps children with AIDS.

In 1997, he released the techno-progressive track Atlantis, then returned to commercial dance in 1998 with Goodbye Summertime, performed by vocalist Althea. In 2000, With You was released as a duet with Swiss singer Katya. As a DJ, he alternates between dance and techno, earning him the nickname “The Angel of the Techno”.

A fruitful collaboration with Charlie Aiello, Miky Giorgi (Antiqua Studio) and composer Andrea Lo Solfo led in 2002 to the single I'll Be Good To You, a club success included in many compilations, charting in Scandinavia and released in Spain by Vale Music. In June 2003, he released I'm Ready from the same partnership. The same period saw the release of Do It With Style by Spagna (vs. Luca Zeta), remixed by the latter.

In November 2003, Got To Believe entered directly at 8th place in the Danish Hitsurf Chart. In May 2004, he signed with the Melodica label and released Hold Me Tonight. He also became artistic director of the Sound Siege label, which released Revenge (remixed and co-composed by Luca) marking the return of Viviana Presutti and Simone Pastore (ex-Da Blitz), as well as You And Me by the duo Do.Ma.

He produced the single You Can Save Me and released his own track Star in late 2004, offering a main version, a Trance Power Mix and a Bass Future Mix. The latter was quickly included in a compilation by the Singaporean label EQ Music.

Summer 2005 was marked by the collaborations Calling with Austrian singer Nina Sigmund and Song Of Joy with Spanish DJ/producer Jordi Carreras. EQ Music released the compilation “The Best Of Luca Zeta”, while Logo Records produced “The Beats Of Luca Zeta”.

In December 2005, he released Through The Barricades, a dance cover of Spandau Ballet’s hit, with an Italo dance version, a techno mix and an unreleased song, also including the TSS Project Remix.

In June 2006, My Angel was released, with a dance version by Luca Zeta and Danijay and a hands up remix by Clubraiders. In return, Luca remixed their track I Want Your Love. Summer 2006 also saw the compilation “Dance Passion”, arranged by Danijay & Luca Zeta. A collaboration with Austrian artist Marc Korn was planned, including a remix and a joint project “Marc Korn vs. Luca Zeta”.

Luca Zeta describes an electric connection with his audience, sharing the same love for music. Many have told him he is an angel, and he aspires to have wings. Considering himself destined by his Gemini sign for an artistic career, he feels perfectly at home in the music world.

Among his aliases are Luca Zeta, Luca Noise, Luca Zeta, Luca Zeta, Luca Zeta and his real name Luca Miramonti.
