Lora

There are at least four distinct artists named Lora.

One of them is a Romanian singer and songwriter, considered one of the most talented and appreciated artists in her country. Originally from Vaslui, she grew up mainly in the countryside. She began her career as a backing vocalist in a rock band, before founding her own band named « FM ». She then participated in the television show « Star Factory », where she finished second.

After this television success, she formed a pop group named Wassabi with three other girls, a collaboration that lasted three years. Her voice then caught the attention of Adrian Sina, a member of the Romanian band Akcent, who invited her to sing on their successful single That’s My Name. This collaboration led to the release in late 2010 of the track My Passion, which achieved major commercial success in Romania and beyond.

She was signed to the label Sisterhoodlive Records, founded by Adrian Sina, with the prospect of releasing new tracks as a solo artist.

The other artists sharing this name include a Bulgarian alternative rock band, active from 1998 and renamed Amoric in 2007, a Russian screamo band from Moscow, and an Italian emo band.
