Lance and Linton
Biography
Lance & Linton are two friends, producers, and songwriters from Stockholm. The project is formed by Niklas Carson Mattsson and Lancelot Hedman.
As Lance & Linton, Niklas Carson Mattsson and Lancelot Hedman have written and released songs including Best Time's Right Now, Sunshine, and I'm Alive.
Niklas Carson Mattsson has entered Melodifestival as a songwriter/composer with 4 songs.
Since 2019, Lancelot Hedman Graaf has been mainly active within the dance-pop duo Lance & Linton. Between 2020 and 2021, he worked on developing his own musical style.
In October, his first single Fördärvad was created while Lancelot was staying at a detox center for alcoholism, an addiction he struggles with. The lyrics draw on Rán from Norse mythology, who gathers the drowned into her palace at the bottom of the sea. Soon after, a second single, Desdemona, followed.
Lancelot Hedman cites older artists as influences, including Fred Åkerström, B.B. King, Johnny Cash, and Freddie King.
