Biography
Kika Edgar, born Sandra Érika Edgar on January 9, 1985 in Tampico (Tamaulipas), began her career as a TV actress in the early 2000s, notably in the series «Primer Amor». She emerged as a singer in 2006 by taking part in the musical reality show «Cantando por un Sueño», forming a duo with Raúl. That appearance led to a covers album/DVD, «Cantando por un Sueño» (2006), credited to Kika y Raúl. In the same year she launched a solo career with Televisa EMI Music, releasing the album «Kika» (2006) featuring the single Tal Vez. Her next album, Lo Siento Mi Amor (2008), reached the Top 10 in Mexico. The Kika project marks Sandra Érika Edgar’s move into a solo music career.
