Keiino

KEiiNO, often stylized that way, is a Norwegian electropop trio frequently described as a supergroup.

It consists of Norwegian singers Alexandra Rotan and Tom Hugo, together with Sámi artist Fred Buljo, who is also a songwriter, rapper and joiker (practitioner of the traditional Sámi joik).

The group was formed in late 2018 to take part in Melodi Grand Prix 2019, Norway’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest; they won the competition with the song Spirit in the Sky and went on to represent Norway at Eurovision 2019.

At Eurovision KEiiNO finished 6th overall while winning the public televote, a result that stands as Norway’s second-best performance this decade. That song was certified triple platinum in Norway in 2022.

Their music is characterized by blending electropop with Sámi ethnic elements, notably the joik performed by Fred Buljo.
