Biography

Kate Hall, real name Kate Semmelroth Hall, is a British-Danish singer born on 21 May 1983 in Harwich, England.
She moved to Allerød, Denmark at the age of three. Her musical journey began early with singing, piano and dance lessons. At twelve, she joined the Danish Radio Girls’ Choir and the following year recorded voices for studio productions of Postman Pat.

Her public career took off in 2002 when she participated in the Danish edition of Popstars, reaching the final and placing third. She also hosted The Voice TV Danmark.
Discovered by German producer Alex Christensen, she achieved chart success in Germany in June 2005 with the single Is There Anybody Out There?.

She became engaged to singer Ben and together they released four duet singles in 2007: Bedingungslos, Du bist wie Musik, Ich lieb dich immer noch so and Zwei Herzen. The engagement ended in November 2008, after which Kate Hall continued her career solo.
She also served as a vocal coach in the seventh season of the German edition of Popstars.
