Biography

Kadoc is a Spanish electronic music project active in the 1990s.

The project was founded by David Penn (real name José David Peñín Montilla) on keyboards and Juan Carlos Molina (alias “Moli”), also on keyboards. Other members include lead singer Daren James Bell and singer Azucena Recoveni. Another member, Enrique Pascual López Mejía, is also associated with the group.

Kadoc broke into the mainstream in 1995 with the release of the track The Nighttrain, produced in collaboration with DJ Chus and the U.P.N. Team. This track is often considered David Penn’s first major success under this alias.

The project is known under several spelling variations such as K-Doc, Kadock, Kadok, Kadoo or Kados.

Kadoc’s musical style is associated with house, trance, hard dance, hard techno, eurodance and hard house.
