Biography
Julia, whose real name is Julia Fiquet, is a French singer born on 24 September 2001. She first gained wider public attention when she took part in season 2 of the TV talent show The Voice Kids at the age of thirteen.
Her performance caught the eye of the renowned songwriter-producer duo Mylène Farmer and Laurent Boutonnat. They chose her to perform the song S.E.X.T.O, which they co-wrote, effectively taking her under their wing. The debut single was released on 12 September 2018.
She then continued preparing her first album with a run of singles: #MESUISTROMPÉE (May 2019), followed by Passe… comme tu sais (October 2019) and Et toi mon amour (February 2020).
Her album, titled Passe… comme tu sais, was ultimately released on 19 June 2020 and entered the charts in France, Belgium, and Switzerland.
In 2022, Julia took part in the French selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, Eurovision France, c’est vous qui décidez !, with her song Chut, placing among the twelve finalists.
