India Dupriez
Biography
At just 22 years old, India Dupriez is on a rising trajectory to become a major name in pop. Her unique voice allows her to blend and transcend genres, establishing a style all her own. A pop artist, she has the versatility to create a sound that is sometimes melodic and catchy, and other times cool and atmospheric.
Her journey began with open mics, busking, and community performances on the Gold Coast, which led to her becoming a regular on the Australian music scene.
Spotted by her former representation, she traveled to California for the first time to write and record original music with renowned producers such as Chizzy Stephens, who has worked on records for artists like Justin Bieber, and producer Kyle Moorman, who recently worked on Walk Me Home.
Between school and trips to the United States—including additional writing and recording sessions in Los Angeles and Nashville—India continued to build her live repertoire around her home region of the Gold Coast. Remarkably, this enchanting nightingale began her journey only eighteen months ago, since earning first and second places in eisteddfods as well as many other awards.
With her voice, she hopes to inspire other young artists to believe in themselves, be brave, and never give up on their dreams.
