Imperio
Biography
Imperio is an Austrian dance music project produced by Norbert Reichart.
The project’s first lineup consisted of singer Manuela Ray and rapper Michael Harris. Together they released the album “Veni Vidi Vici” in 1995, which spawned four singles.
In a second phase, Imperio was fronted by Manuela Ray and a new male partner, Lawrence Madia. They recorded the album “Return To Paradise” in 1996, which was less successful.
A third album never materialized, apart from a promotional single titled “Voices Of Eternity” released in 2001. The project’s producer and driving force, Norbert Reichart, based Imperio’s original concept on his admiration for soundtracks from Ancient Roman films.
