Biography
Heppner is the stage name of the German singer Peter Heppner, born in 1967 in Hamburg.
His music career began in 1987 with the founding of the electronic duo Wolfsheim, with which he gained recognition in the underground scene. He left the group in January 2009 due to personal differences.
Alongside Wolfsheim, Peter Heppner pursued a solo career and became a highly sought-after guest artist. His collaborations with other figures in electronic music, notably Schiller, Paul Van Dyk, and Joachim Witt, allowed him to reach a wider audience.
He has also lent his characteristic deep voice to numerous other projects as a guest singer.
