Hardy Hard is the stage name of the German artist Kay Lippert, born on September 10, 1974 in Dresden.
His career began in 1991 under the pseudonym Hardsequencer, which he used until 1997. That year, he moved to Berlin and adopted the name Hardy Hard, marking a stylistic evolution away from rave.
His first productions under this name include Metal Hammer, Here comes that Sound, Silversurfer, Grandmaster Fresh, Funky Music, Police on Dope, and Come out & Play.
He has also been active under other aliases such as Chemical Reaction Food, Peak Level, Die Fiesen Toene, and Hardhooks. His work is rooted in electronic music, exploring techno, breaks, trance, and club music.
