Biography

Haiducii is the stage name of Paula Mitrache, born on June 14, 1977 in Bucharest, Romania.

After winning the title of Miss Bucharest, she pursued a career as a singer, model, and actress, speaking Romanian, English, and Russian.

Her music career began explosively in January 2004 with the release of her first single, a cover of Dragostea Din Tei. This dance track immediately rose to the top of sales and airplay charts in Italy and worldwide, staying there for over ten weeks. It was certified gold within its first two weeks, then platinum, with over one million copies sold across Europe, notably in Germany, Austria, Benelux, Switzerland, France, Spain, Mexico, and the Czech Republic.

In July 2004, she released her second single, Mne S Toboy Horosho (Nara Nara Na Na), which reached number 5 on the Italian charts. In early 2005, her third single, I Need A Boyfriend, entered the Top 20.

In December 2005, she returned with More 'N' More (I Love You), which remained in the Italian Top 20 for several weeks, leading the airplay charts. The music video, presented in March 2006, features her with five dancers and special effects. A first album was announced for 2006 at that time.

Alongside her music, she served as an international presenter at the 2004 Festival di Sanremo and on Fiorello’s show “Stasera pago io revolution”. She also lived and released music in Bari, Italy.

Her musical style is associated with Eurodance, pop, dance, and Italo dance.
