Filatov & Karas are a Russian production and remix duo formed in 2012, made up of Dmitrij Filatov and Aleksey Osokin (alias Karas), based in Moscow.

Profile: Russian DJ and producer, co-founder of Adapter Records.

After more than ten years of separate careers — local awards, solo albums, FM radio shows and releases on labels such as Universal Music, Warner, Kontor and Ultra — they teamed up in 2012. As DJs and a live act, Filatov & Karas have performed at major international festivals including Tomorrowland, WKND Festival, Tinderbox and NRJ Air.

Their 2015 remix of The Good, The Bad and The Crazy by Imany held the top position on the iTunes chart for eleven weeks and went platinum in Russia. The follow-up remix Don't Be So Shy achieved multi-platinum and diamond status, strong international radio support and reached the Top 5 on Shazam worldwide in 2016; it was No.1 in Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, France, Russia, Poland, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Georgia, Turkey, Kazakhstan and other countries.

Original singles such as Tell It To My Heart and Wide Awake (with Eric Saade & Gustaf Noren) also climbed the charts with millions of streams and views. The single Time Won't Wait reached top positions in Eastern Europe and surpassed 60,000,000 views on YouTube.
