Enrique Iglesias, full name Enrique Miguel Iglesias Preysler, is a Spanish singer, songwriter, actor, and producer born on May 8, 1975, in Madrid.

He is the son of Isabel Preysler and Julio Iglesias.

He began his recording career in the mid-1990s on the Mexican label Fonovisa, becoming the best-selling Spanish-language artist of the decade. At the turn of the millennium, he successfully transitioned to the mainstream English-language market.

He signed a multi-album deal with Universal Music Group and later joined Sony Music, with his albums released by Sony Music Latin in Spanish and RCA Records in English.

Enrique Iglesias is one of the best-selling Latin music artists, with estimated worldwide sales of over 70 million records. He has five singles in the top five of the Billboard Hot 100, including two number ones.

He holds the record for the most number-one songs on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart with 27 titles, and on the Latin Pop Airplay chart with 24 titles. He also ranks as the top Latin artist of all time and was honored in October 2022 as the Top Latin Artist of All Time at the Latin Billboard Awards.

On the Billboard Dance charts, he has 14 number ones, a record for a male artist. In December 2016, Billboard magazine named him the 14th most successful dance club artist of all time and the top male.
