Emixfair
Biography
Emixfair is a French music project formed near Lyon by Tony (born 1984, composer, arranger, graphic designer) and Giulian (born 1986, composer, arranger, songwriter). Having attended the same school, they discovered shared Italian roots and a mutual passion for dance music, which led them to create the group ‘Dj’ Ital’ System’ in 2003.
Their first notable work was the remix of Mare, played in some clubs in France and Italy, notably on MoveMania Radio. While looking for a singer for their compositions, Tony and Giulian met Aurelio (born 1984, songwriter, singer, graphic designer) via the Blisscorporation forum; sharing the same artistic vision, he began collaborating with them and the project became E M I X F A I R.
The first release under that name, Love From A Star, combines a dance sound inspired by the genre’s golden age with deep lyrics. After receiving positive feedback on Danceria Community, the song was aired on several Italian and French radio stations before being signed by the Austrian label ARC RECORDS.
Their remix of Deep in my soul was played on Chemical Lab and Tribe on the Italian radio station m2o by DJs Amoroso and Remondini, and reached number one on Danceria’s sales charts for three weeks.
