
Dynamo
Biography
Dynamo is the pseudonym used by German producer Torsten Pröfrock for part of his work. His activity is closely linked to the German label DIN, which he runs, and the Berlin record store Hardwax. Under this name, he released the album Außen Vor in 2002, a work of abstract, minimalist electro and techno mastered by Robert Henke of Monolake. Pröfrock uses numerous aliases reflecting the facets of his production, including Erosion, Traktor, Traktor 9000, Log, T++, Resilent, and Just For One Day. His work, often categorized as dub techno and IDM, is distinguished by an experimental and minimalist approach.
