Dolly Style
Biography
Dolly Style is a Swedish conceptual musical project created in 2014 by the songwriting team Emma Nors and Palle Hammarlund under Capitol Records Sweden.
The idea began when Emma Nors imagined her song Hello Hi being performed at Melodifestivalen by dolls; the first performers were Alexandra Salomonsson (Holly), Carolina Magnell (Molly) and Emma Pucek (Polly), and the single reached number 32 in Sweden.
The lineup changed over time: in April 2015 Emma Pucek (Polly) was replaced by Marielle Myhrberg, and in November 2015 Carolina Magnell (Molly) was replaced by Mikaela. After Marielle Myhrberg left in August 2017, Sarah von Reis took over in September 2017; former members also include Linnéa Källström (Molly).
The group took part in Melodifestivalen several times: in 2016 with Rollercoaster (Second Chance), which became their highest-charting single, peaking at number 27; in 2019 they entered Habibi but did not qualify; in 2025 they returned with Yihaa, qualifying for the final and finishing 5th. They also released the singles Unicorns & Ice Cream (2017) and Young and Restless (October 2017).
The characters are identified by colours: Molly is pink, Holly is blue and Polly is purple. The current lineup includes Vilma Davidsson (Holly), Caroline Aronsson (Polly), Annie Moreau (Molly) and Mikaela Samuelsson (Yolly).
