DJ Restlezz
Biography
DJ Restlezz, real name Adrian Waeber, is a Swiss DJ born on 27 February 1986 in Bern.
His taste for electronic music was shaped in the 1990s by listening to trance and vocal trance; the release of Moonlight Shadow in 2002 confirmed his passion for the genre. His style was later influenced by many recognized Hands-Up artists.
He began mixing Hands-Up and Jumpstyle privately from 2008. In early 2009 he founded the team ‘Jumpstyle Switzerland’, with which he organized numerous gatherings and parties dedicated to the scene; his talent quickly earned him bookings at other clubs in Switzerland.
In 2011 he broadened his repertoire by also mixing hardstyle. The year 2012 marked the start of his studio work with Comeea, resulting in the joint release Halfway Around The World; it was also during this period that he produced several of his best-known bootlegs.
His first solo single was released in 2013, followed by remixes for established artists such as Mia Julia and X-Cess!. Shortly after, in collaboration with Tribune under the pseudonym ‘DJ Restlezz vs. Tribune’, he produced the single Fun & Celebration, which even appeared on renowned compilations.
Highlights of his career include his participation in the Easter Rave in Oberhausen in 2015 with members of ‘Jumpstyle Switzerland’, as well as the Street Parade in Zurich.
