Biography
DJ Furax, real name Alexandre Schippers, is a Belgian electronic music producer and DJ.
He is known for his productions in the trance, hard and techno styles, marked by strong retro influences. His interest in music began around the age of 15, when he started experimenting with a mixing desk, a period that coincided with the rise of the new beat hype in Belgium. He began his career as a resident DJ in several clubs.
Five years ago he moved into music production. His first notable success is the track Big Orgus, which became the best-selling vinyl in France in 2003 and remained on the Dutch and Belgian charts for more than three months.
