Biography
Nir Tibor, born June 18, 1993 in Tel Aviv, is professionally known by the stage name Dennis Lloyd. He is an Israeli musician, producer, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist.
He learned to play the trumpet at age 8 and later taught himself guitar at 13. He attended the Thelma Yellin Arts High School in Givatayim.
He released his debut single, Playa (Say That), in mid-2015. In late 2015, he moved to Bangkok, Thailand, where he stayed for one year. During his time in Bangkok, he focused exclusively on music and wrote 35 songs.
After that year, he returned to Israel where he began releasing more music, including the tracks Snow White and Nevermind (Alright). He remixed the latter song and released it as Nevermind in the winter of 2016.
The remixed version quickly found success on Spotify, eventually reaching #4 on the Spotify Global Viral chart. It went on to accumulate over 200 million streams on the platform. In June 2018, Time magazine listed it as one of the songs of the summer. The single charted in several countries including Germany, Switzerland, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States, and was certified platinum in Italy, Canada, Germany, and Switzerland.
