Daz Sampson
Biography
Daz Sampson, born Darren Alvin Sampson, is a producer and rapper from Manchester.
He is best known for representing the United Kingdom at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest in Greece with the song Teenage Life, which features chorus parts performed by schoolgirls; the song finished 19th out of 24, after earlier appearing among the top ten in the points tally.
On the production side, he makes up one half of the duo Uniting Nations, specialising in remixes and production. He has also been a member of the groups Bus Stop and The Barndance Boys, and recorded as a duo with Ricardo Autobahn (of Spray) under the name Rikki & Daz.
